ManyBass comes with 2.4 gigs of soundsets, which are divided into three pickup settings: deep, growl, and smooth. The deep bass soundsets use the neck pickup exclusively, giving the bass a low, hollow tone. The growl bass soundsets use the bridge pickup only, giving it clarity and presence in the mid and high frequencies, making it cut through the mix well. Lastly, the smooth bass soundsets use an equal blend of both the neck and bridge pickup, giving it an even, versatile tone. Each of these extensively sampled pickup settings include the most commonly used articulations and playing methods. All the soundsets have compatible mappings, meaning that anything sequenced using one soundset can translate to any of the other soundsets.

The versatility of the tone makes it not only drive the rhythm section of a Rock band, but also fit perfectly in a 70's Jazz environment as well.
Deep Bass - Picked Muted 131 multi-samples The palm-muted bass tone is common throughout the history of Rock. This soundset is suitable not only for a modern Pop/Rock tone, but also for that definitive 60's Rock tone.

Smooth Bass - Muted 128 multi-samples This soundset is great for Funk and Reggae, or to accentuate the groove in quieter sections of songs.

Smooth Bass - Tapped 127 multi-samples This soundset works well in solo bass arrangements. It can also be used to simulate hammer-ons for increased realism in bass sequencing.
Smooth Bass - Slapped 131 multi-samples The definition of smooth and cool, this slap tone is coveted by many bassists. It can be used in solo environments as well as in ensembles, making it an extremely versatile tone.
