Manytone Fretless Bass
The Manytone Fretless Bass is a comprehensive sample library of a 4-string fretless precision bass. The extensive soundsets cover a variety of articulations which take advantage of the fretless nature of the instrument. For example, we have sampled the distinctive sound of vibrato as well as various increments and speeds of bends. The articulations included greatly increase the versatility of the Manytone Fretless Bass. While the smooth bends and vibrato samples may sound especially good in warm ballads, the staccato samples allow the sample library to encompass faster, more upbeat styles of music as well. Also these staccato samples, as well as the sustained tones, were sampled with both index and middle fingers, so the machine-gun effect of repeating notes may be easily avoided.
The Manytone Fretless Bass was sampled completely dry, giving you the flexibility to shape the tone to your taste from a neutral DI tone (Direct Injected). In the case of the ManyBass, Kontakt, and Dimension Pro formats, many carefully crafted presets are included.

ManyTone ManyBassFor: ManyBass, ManyGuitar, ManyOne, ManyStation and any Wusik Engine product
The ManyBass version of the Manytone Fretless Bass includes presets for ManyBass. These presets take full advantage of ManyBass's built in FX and keyswitching capabilities. The ManyBass version allows you to load all 4 soundsets into the same patch and simply keyswitch amongst them. These presets which utilize ManyBass's keyswitching capability have "KS" at the end of the preset name. The Soundsets (Samples) will also load into any ManyTone instrument, as well as any Wusik Engine powered instrument. See below for the full mapping information.
Cakewalk Dimension and SFZFor: Dimension, Dimension Pro, Dimension LE and the SFZ VSTi.
The SFZ version not only includes mappings for the four individual soundsets, but also one which combines all four, using keyswitching. This keyswitching preset is entitled "Fretless KS". The keyswitch note region is documented in the mapping information, the same note region in the mapping as all of the other formats of the Manytone Fretless Bass. The SFZ version of the Manytone Fretless Bass includes many presets for Dimension, Dimension Pro and Dimension LE. Presets which use keyswitching in Dimension Pro have "KS" at the end of the preset name. The samples and mappings of this version will also load into the free SFZ Vsti available from CakeWalk.
KontaktAs well as containing the standard mapping for the Manytone Fretless Bass, the Kontakt version includes a preset which utilizes Kontakt's sample cycling functionality. This way, cycling between the index finger and middle finger samples is automatic. Presets using this capability have "(cycle)" at the end of their name. Presets which use keyswitching have "KS" at the end of the preset name. The Kontakt version also has a custom skin (GUI).
Soundfont - SF2The soundfont version will load into any VSTi soundfont player. As various players use different preset formats, there are no presets included in this version, only the samples and the mappings for them are included. However, it is very easy to load the soundfonts into your SF2 player of choice and create your own presets.
